Many people coming to the United States
require a visa to enter the country, but often are confused about the different
types. To simplify the explanation, there are two (2) types of visas:
resident visas (also known as "greencards")
and a non-resident visas (also known as temporary
visas). While many foreigners would like a greencard,
not all qualify. There are different requirements for each type, and in
some cases it is best to start with a non-resident visa and work towards
attaining a greencard.
